~DMPO Gets Ran Over~

A Des Moines Police Officer got ran over on Sunday , Oct. 4, 2009 by a man who could of been under the influence of something-police are not sure as of right now why the man did such a thing. The victim has a broken pelvis and possibly a broken femur. The police man who got ran over;his name is Officer Lloyd who has been on the force since 2005. The suspect was driving a 2 door truck;while after a chase from the police he then ran into a squad car then tried to run over Officer Lloyd. There was a passenger in the car w/the sucpect who was claimed to be the suspects' girlfriend. She was tooken to the Hos. for nonthreatening conditions. Me, personally i think that the man should go to jail for attempted murder.
