He's been in the rap game since 1993. He is signed to Cash Money and Young Money labels. When he first stepped into the game he was not alone--he was associated with the group HOT BOYS. and they came out with the album "Get It How U Live It". Then he went solo and released "Tha Carter, Tha Carter II, Tha Carter III". He got 8 Grammy Awards nominations. He worte his first rap song when he was 8 years old. Then he met Bryan Williams the rapper and owner of Cash Money records. He accidently shot hiself with a 44 caliber at the age of 12. Then he dropped out of school at 14 years old. But then he started to pursue his career in rapping.
