Deadly Apartment Fire....Kills 2

Cops say 2 people are now dead after an early morning apartment fire in Clinton, Iowa. The victims' names were not released immediatly.The firefighters were called to the apartment complex around 12 in the morning on wednesday.Clintons' fire Chief Mark Regenwether said the fire was contained to1 apartment, but several other apartments had been damaged. After shutting down the fire, firefighters found the bodies of two victims in the back of an apartment.Regenwether said 10 to 12 other families were evacuated to the First Congregational Church, but most were able to return home later in the morning. Cops are are investigating the cause of the fire.

Be Carefull Sledding!!!!!!

2 Girls have been hospitalized because of sledding injuries. Rescuers were called to Laura Dodge Elementary School near 3520 Maplewood Boulevard at about 12:15 p.m. Witnesses said the girls were pushed off a steep hill on an innertube and hit very high speeds at the bottom of the hill, and then went over o snow bank being used as a jumping ramp. The teens were launched over and onto the pavement. Another witness said they were about 20 feet high in the air. One of the girls landed on her head, and the other on her back. One was unconcious when witnesses ran to over to help. One was treated at the Nebraska Medical Center and was released.  The other (Sarah Rogers) was taken into serious condition to Creighton University Medical Center and no new information about her and her conditon has been released. Experts say when sledding , it's almost impossible to be prepared. And that a big part of being safe when sledding is to be aware of your surroundings. And be sure to wear extra pads and safety equipment.

Crash=2 Killed and 1 Injured

Jacob Haines(22), and Darby Gilbert(17) were killed in a tragic accident while driving a Ford Mustang going southbound on W66 when Haines lost control and the car went into a ditch, then hit a culvert at 115 street and ran into a barn. Kyle Allen(19)was injured and rushed to the hospital by ambulance. The crash was near Columbus Juction.

End Of An Era

Oprah Winfrey will end her daytime television show in 2011 after it's being on the air for 25 seasons straight. Winfrey will be scheduled to announce the final date for her show during a live broadcast according to her production company Harpo Productions Inc. A Harpo spokesman declinced to comment Thursday on Winfrey's plans except to say that The Oprah Winfrey Show has seen rating slip 7% from a year ago. Winfrey is expected to start up a new talk show on OWN.

H1N1 Deaths Understated

There has been 21 H1N1 deaths in Iowa. 7 in the Polk County area itself. But the count's mediacl examiner said he has performed autopies on some residents who were never diagnosed but HAD the flu. In the autopsies there were lungs filled with a lot of blood. Dr. Gregory Schumunk said. He also said there are 2 reasons for this discrepancy: 1st) not all sick patients get tests. 2nd) The virus is difficult to detect. Some patients may be too sick to recieve the most accurate H1N1 test. But in the mean time; still rememeber to wash your hands, sneeze into your sleeve, and stay at home if your sick.

Police Deal With Stress Due to Recent Major Incidents

The DMPD is offering counseling to the DMPD officers after some major incidents that just happened. The department has fqaced 6 major incidents in 4 months. They all happened during the 3rd watch shift or the evening shift.
3 officers have also been injured in the line of duty. Even the most seasoned officers can't remember a time like this.

Farrah, Fallon, Felisha, Neosha are the four girls in in Cherish. Farrah and Neosha are twins. And Felisha and Fallon are twins. They originated from Maywood, Illinois but then moved to Atlanta, Georgia to start thier music career. Cherish has been active/present since 2003. The group is signed to Capitol , and Sho' nuff records. Their 2nd record "Unappreciated" is the one that I have and personally think that it's the best. No Action Taken...Bogus!!!

A few weeks ago, there was a story about girls getting illegally stripped searched AT SCHOOL!!! At an Atlanta high school. The officials are recommending no action needs to be taken of this crime. One of the lawyers of one of the families who's daughter had got searched back in Aug. quoted, "I am very dissapointed that no action was taken. But I will be following up with this." In my opinion i agree 150%. Why? because that's not right.If they tried to search me at school--WE WOULD BE FIGHTIN!!!

Jesscia Hill was convicted and arrested for the slaying of her husband Micheal Hill. She faces 50 years in prison for 2nd degree murder charges. She shot her husband to death in May 2007 while working on a sheep farm in Odgen. Hill was and admitted to having an affair with another man by the name of Daniel Blair. He was also convicted and arrested and is facing a 1st degree murder charge. Another man was known to help in the process of killing her husband who goes by the name of Aron Moss, who is facing a 2nd degree murder charge.

Guilty or Not Guilty>???

A 19 year old woman has been accused of having sexual encounters with two 12 year old boys. She is schelduled for trial early next year on Jan. 5th. The 19 year old being accused of this crime is Kourtney Babcook. She is/was charged with 3 counts of 3rd degree of sexual abuse. The/this investigation started in July. She remains free on bond. She is accused of having sex with these 2 young boys in a house in Mediapolis. She is residing in Burlington, Iowa.

300 Search For 9 Year Old GIrl

Alot of people have been searching for a 9 year old Missouri girl who went missing after going to visit her friend.She went missing around 7 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday the 21st. The police have tried to track her cell phone but it apparently went dead on Thursday. The Cole County Poliice Department(CCPD)have been looking and so have about 300 other people. There was so many people wanting to help look for her that some had to be turned away. I hope she is somewhere safe, and if she isn't I hope they find her in a good condition.

Destiny's Child is my fav. R&B singing group and has always been since I was little. I grew up with all their music, and all their CD'S. Lead singer: Beyonc'e Knowles, and alongside: Kelly Rowland ,and Michelle Williams. They all originated form Houston, Texas.

At first the group was called Girls Tyme and LaTavia Roberson and Letoya Luckett were also a pert of the group but they fell out and Beyonc'e and Kelly kept going and found Michelle Williams which then formed Destiny's Child. Beyonc'e is now solo but they were active as a group from 1997 to 2005. They've had too many to count #1"s over the years and now Beyonc'e is making many more on her own.

A Des Moines Police Officer got ran over on Sunday , Oct. 4, 2009 by a man who could of been under the influence of something-police are not sure as of right now why the man did such a thing. The victim has a broken pelvis and possibly a broken femur. The police man who got ran over;his name is Officer Lloyd who has been on the force since 2005. The suspect was driving a 2 door truck;while after a chase from the police he then ran into a squad car then tried to run over Officer Lloyd. There was a passenger in the car w/the sucpect who was claimed to be the suspects' girlfriend. She was tooken to the Hos. for nonthreatening conditions. Me, personally i think that the man should go to jail for attempted murder.

*Burglaries in Waukee Increase Greatly*

In Waukee, police officers are cracking down harder to find and fight crime. They are doing this because the crime percentage is going up higher and higher. People are getting thier cars stolen left and right, and people's houses are being violated by being broken into. The percentage rate has went from to 53% in 2007 to 103% in 2008 and it's still rising. In 2008 juvenilles were the main cause. Now they dont know who or what could be causing these incresing crimes.

I think that family is and always will be more important than my friends. No matter what my family members do I will always be on thier side. Me and my family believe in stiking in together always and forever. But I will make the point that if my family does something too off the wall then yeah it might take me a while to forgive them, or I just might not at all. But to me your going to hafe to forgive your family whether you want to or not because your family is all you got when you come into this world and it's all your going to have when you leave. Cameo is one of my favorite all time old skool groups. Alot of people my age dont know about Cameo. In 20 years i see myself working as either a singer or as a lawyer with 1 or 2 kids. I'd rather just have 1 kid, and i want a girl. I also see myself having a nice house living with whom ever....(im not quite sure on that one)and having a nice car. I dont know what cars are going to be out when I get the chance to get a car or in 20 years. For all I know our cars could be flying then. After Michael Jackson's death, it has been nothing but gossip going around. Now there is talk that Michael Jackson feared somebody wanted to kill him for his money. He also feared that somebody wanted kill him for his Beatles catalogue. Now people think that his drugs were not used in the way they were supposed to be used. I agree with all of that. In my opinion his Doctor; Dr. Murray used the drugs to intentionally murder Michael Jackso. Im not sure if it was because he just wanted to kill him , or if he wanted to do exactly what Michael Jackson feared. But i think Dr. Murray Conrad should be charged with a Homicide, not Manslaughter.

People say there is a big competition between Ciara and Beyonc'e. That competition is all over who is the bigger and better diva? Well in my opinion I think Beyonc'e is the bigger and better diva. She is more safisticated and she's also been in the singing industry way longer. She has made more songs and has a wwaaayyy better voice than Ciara. Now in each of thier music videos they both have the same styles but that don't mean they need to be rated at the same quality. In Beyonce's music video, "Diva" she has a pair of stuntin shades that are stripped with single pieces of i don't know that hang down in the vertical direction. In Ciara's music video, "Love, Sex, and Magic" she has the same stuntin shades but nothing hangs down and they are stripped going in the horizontal direction.
